Late for school

Read the following text and then answer the questions.

Soon Huat had been waiting for about one hour at the bus stop.  The bus had not arrived. It was supposed to arrive at 6.45 a.m.  Soon Huat knew that he would be late for school.  He also knew that if he were late he would be punished.  He decided to take a taxi.  It would cost him more then the bus fare but he did not want to be late for his lessons.  His mother had given him some money which he had asked for to buy a revision book for Mathematics.  Soon Huat decided to use this money to pay for the taxi fare.
